The Idol 2009 2nd Audition Rules and Regulations

*The Idol 2009 2nd Audition Contestants Must Read the Following Rules and Regulations

1. The Idol 2009 2nd audition on 10th June 2009 7pm-11pm at INTI-UC sports hall.

2. There are totally 30 individuals and 6groups of participants in 2nd audition.

3. Punctuality is to be observed at all time.

4. All the contestants must gather at AO( Accommodation Office) before 6:30pm. For ICSJ contestant, we will bring you to this location.

5. Participants are given 5 minutes to present 2 songs.

6. All individual contestants MUST choose 1 compulsory song from the list and another song can be any other languages.

7. All group contestants are free to choose their own english song and another song can be any other languages.

8. Participants are required to look for the karaoke of the songs they want to present include the 7 songs to choose.

9. Participants are required to cut their 2 songs themselves and shorten it into 5minutes.

10. If NOT able to find the karaoke of the song,please inform the contestant-co (Teo Zi Shen ) latest by Monday(8th June 2009).

11. The 2 songs want to present have to inform contestants-co(Teo Zi Shen) latest by Monday(8th June 2009).

12. All songs should not contain any offensive words.

13. Contestants are allow to change their music key.

14. NO musical instruments are allowed in the 2nd audition.

15. Group contestants MUST come out with their group name.

16. Contestants must be properly dressed. The following are not allowed during the auditions:

A. slippers
B. T-shirt with offensive words.

17. Image and attire are considered in the judging.

18. Finalist result will inform on next week by Sms, paste on Stact club board and the idol 2009’s blog.

19. Contestants who is chosen n qualified to the final stage are not allow to quit activities unless there are valid reasons.

20. Contestants who qualified in final are required to attend the singing training, MTV shooting, rehearsal n etc decided by committees board.

21. Smoking and alcohol consumption is prohibited at all time.

22. All rules and regulations are subjected to change without prior notice.

23. Decisions by judge are final.

24. All rules and regulations mentioned above are to be observed at all time. Failing to do so will lead to the disqualification of the participant.
